Apprentice, Legal Counsel - EMEA
Job Description:
Collaborate closely with the Legal Counsel – EMEA to oversee legal affairs and associated processes within the EMEA region. Coordinate preliminary tasks, engage in active contract negotiations, draft legal documents, and ensure timely follow-up. Assist business activities across various domains, such as data privacy, clinical studies, distributors’ relations, and commercial operations. Contribute to MV EMEA legal department projects with active participation. Job duties:
Data privacy: Support MV EMEA compliance initiatives with GDPR and local regulations, including Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and Data Processing Agreements (DPA) and provide a first-step analysis of business initiatives from a privacy perspective, etc.
Clinical studies: Support the management of agreements with Healthcare Organizations (HCO), Healthcare Professionals (HCP), Contract Research Organizations (CRO), consent forms, and evaluation of clinical projects.
Distribution and distributor relations: Draft letters of authorization, powers of attorney, etc. as requested by business needs.
Commercial operations: Support risk-assessments, address tender-related queries, etc.
Assist and actively participate in development of projects of the EMEA Legal Department.
Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.

Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Well-organized with assigned duties.
Prompt responsiveness to priorities.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Strong English language skills.
Desired Qualifications
Master 1 in Law (healthcare law, commercial law, contractual law).
Other significant educational or work experience related to the position.
Medical device, pharmaceutical, and/or other healthcare-related knowledge is a plus.
German or Italian language proficiency is a plus.
